About DevilsNode
🌀 Who We Are
DevilsNode is an independent privacy engineering initiative focused on creating open-source tools that protect users from surveillance, tracking, and data collection. We believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a luxury.
(Edit this section with your own story and mission)
🌀 Our Values
- Privacy First: Zero data collection, everything runs locally on your device
- Open Source: All code is publicly available for audit and contribution
- User Freedom: No accounts required, no tracking, no vendor lock-in
- Security: Military-grade encryption and tamper-proof logging
- Transparency: Clear documentation and honest communication
🌀 Open Source License
All DevilsNode projects are licensed under Apache License 2.0, which provides:
- Free use for personal and commercial purposes
- Freedom to modify and distribute
- Patent protection for contributors
- Clear liability and warranty disclaimers
We believe in true open source - no hidden costs, no premium features, no paywalls.
🌀 Why We Build
In an era of mass surveillance and data exploitation, individuals deserve tools that actually protect them. Most "privacy" software is either:
- Closed-source and unverifiable
- Collects data themselves
- Too complex for average users
- Expensive or subscription-based
DevilsNode builds tools that are open, free, powerful, and accessible to everyone.

ShadowWall
Military-Grade Browser Privacy Extension
ShadowWall is the first browser extension that sends fake camera and microphone streams to websites instead of your real media devices. Beyond this unique feature, it provides comprehensive privacy protection with 41 advanced security features including keylogger blocking, password field encryption, complete browser fingerprint anonymization, and automated tracker blocking across 100,000+ domains.
Unlike traditional privacy tools that simply block requests, ShadowWall operates invisibly using context isolation - websites cannot detect its presence, making it impossible for trackers to bypass or target users with advanced tracking methods. All data is stored locally with HMAC tamper-proof logging and 90-day retention.
🌐 Browser Compatibility
Compatible with all Chromium-based browsers. Requires Manifest V3 support.
📥 Download ShadowWall
Choose your preferred installation method. We recommend .CRX for faster installation.

🚀 Installation Instructions
Method 1: .CRX Installation (Recommended 💥)
Download the .CRX File
Click the "Download .CRX File" button above. Your browser will download shadowwall.crx to your Downloads folder.
Open Extensions Management Page
Open your browser and navigate to:
chrome://extensions/ (Chrome/Brave/Opera)
edge://extensions/ (Microsoft Edge)
Or go to Menu → Extensions → Manage Extensions
Enable Developer Mode
Look for the "Developer mode" toggle switch in the top-right corner and turn it ON. This allows installation of extensions from outside the Chrome Web Store.
Drag & Drop the .CRX File
Open your Downloads folder, find shadowwall.crx, and drag it into the extensions page. Your browser will recognize it as an extension.
Confirm Installation
A popup will appear asking for permissions. Click "Add Extension" to complete the installation. ShadowWall will appear in your toolbar.
Configure & Start Protecting
Click the ShadowWall icon in your toolbar to open the popup. Toggle "Devil Mode" ON to activate all privacy features. That's it! You're now protected.
Method 2: .ZIP Installation (Manual)
Download & Extract ZIP
Download shadowwall.zip and extract it to a permanent location on your computer (e.g., Documents/Extensions/ShadowWall). Do NOT delete this folder after installation.
Open Extensions Page
Navigate to chrome://extensions/ or edge://extensions/ and enable Developer Mode.
Load Unpacked Extension
Click the "Load unpacked" button that appears after enabling Developer Mode. Navigate to the extracted ShadowWall folder and select it.
Extension Loaded
ShadowWall will appear in your extensions list and toolbar. The folder must remain in place - if you move or delete it, the extension will stop working.
⚠️ Note: The .ZIP method is useful for development and testing, but the .CRX method is recommended for regular use as it's more permanent.
